The CIA has agreed to a cloud computing contract with e-commerce giant Amazon, worth up to $600 million over 10 years, according to a report.

The CIA has agreed to a cloud computing contract with e-commerce giant Amazon, worth up to $600 million over 10 years, according to a report.

Amazon, which has a major operation in Dublin, will help the intelligence agency build a private cloud infrastructure that allows it to stay abreast of emerging technologies in a cost-effective manner, said website FCW, which covers developments in federal technology.
