Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Equity Fund has sold its 40 per cent stake in Limerick company ChipSensors for an estimated €10 million. Kernel announced the all-cash trade sale to Texas-based Silicon Laboratories last week.
Since its launch in the University of Limerick three years ago, the fund has made €1.95 million available to ChipSensors over nine separate tranches.
