Travellers from China spent the most on hotel rooms in Ireland during the first half of this year, according to the latest Hotels.com Hotel Price Index.

The report, which tracks the average price paid for a hotel room in Ireland by visiting countries, reveals that visitors from China spent an average of €161 per room per night in the first six months of 2015, up 27 per cent compared to the same period last year.
