Children’s hospital sets €100m fundraising target

The board of the new National Paediatric Hospital in Dublin hopes to raise €100 million from donors to help fund the project.

The board of the new National Paediatric Hospital in Dublin hopes to raise €100 million from donors to help fund the project.

The total cost of the project is estimated at €750 million, with €400 million of that coming from the exchequer. Eilis Hardiman, chief executive of the development board for the new hospital, said it planned to make up the remaining €350million from a range of sources.
