Childcare firm profits from expansion

Giraffe Childcare, the childcare firm backed by entrepreneur Tony Kilduff, made a pre-tax profit of more than €419,000 last year, reflecting the demand for childcare places in Dublin and the commuter belt, writes Gavin Daly.

Giraffe has 11 childcare centres, and plans to open 15 more over the next three years.
