Childcare chain racks up €2.4m losses

Giraffe Childcare, the Dublin childcare chain, made a loss of more than €780,000 last year, pushing its accumulated loss to almost €2.4 million.

Giraffe Childcare, the Dublin childcare chain, made a loss of more than €780,000 last year, pushing its accumulated loss to almost €2.4 million.

The company had a deficit on shareholders' funds of almost €1 million at the end of last April, according to accounts just filed. Turnover at the company, which has nine childcare and early learning centres in Dublin, is not disclosed.
