Chicago and Illinois state tourism chiefs are targeting Irish holidaymakers as part of their first marketing and trade programme here.
Boosting the number of passengers on Aer Lingus’ Dublin to Chicago direct flights is one of the aims of the new campaign, as well as attracting an extra 10,000 Irish visitors to the region.
