Chemspec Ireland, an Irish water-treatment firm, has gone bust with debts of almost €500,000, including more than €153,000 to the Revenue Commissioners.

Chemspec Ireland, an Irish water-treatment firm, has gone bust with debts of almost €500,000, including more than €153,000 to the Revenue Commissioners. The company was wound up at creditors' meeting last week.

According to its Statement of Affairs, the company has assets worth €977,000, of which just €142,000 is expected to be realised.
