Durrus is a semi-soft washed rind Irish farmhouse cheese made in west Cork which has a rich flavour and melts beautifully, and which makes a refreshing change from the usual goat's cheese offerings. It's a dish that can be easily replicated at home and served as a lunchtime main course, or a great starter for a dinner party.
