A small change in the health-insurance regulations could lead to a huge increase in the number of people getting vital cancer screening, without any extra cost to the state, according to the country’s newest health insurer.
Oliver Tattan, of Vivas Health, said the Health Insurance Authority (HIA) could require all health insurers to cover the cost of screening for potential cancers, such as cervical, breast and prostate cancers.
