One-third of Irish businesses intend to invest less than €500 on computer hardware next year, according to a survey from business lobby group Chambers Ireland.

One-third of Irish businesses intend to invest less than €500 on computer hardware next year, according to a survey from business lobby group Chambers Ireland.

Chambers Ireland launched its 2007e -business survey last week, in conjunction with ComReg, the commission for communications regulation.

The survey of 611 Irish companies considered a number of issues, including web presence, broadband services and e-tendering.
