The government has taken a High Court action against Chambers Ireland, the business representative group, in a bid to recover more than €500,000 of European structural funds it claims were not properly accounted for.

The government has taken a High Court action against Chambers Ireland, the business representative group, in a bid to recover more than €500,000 of European structural funds it claims were not properly accounted for. The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment is suing the business lobby group following an audit by its financial control unit.
