Centre attracting ‘business tourists’

The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) has secured almost 40 international conferences, which are expected to generate €82 million for the economy.

The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) has secured almost 40 international conferences, which are expected to generate €82 million for the economy.

More than 59,000 overseas delegates will attend the conferences at the €380 million centre on the north quays in Dublin city centre. Three months ahead of its opening on September 1, 26 national conferences have also been booked for the venue to date.
