Central Bank ends insider trading arrangement with ISE

The Central Bank of Ireland has announced that it has ended an arrangement whereby the Irish Stock Exchange had a role in monitoring for insider trading on its behalf.

The Central Bank of Ireland has announced that it has ended an arrangement whereby the Irish Stock Exchange had a role in monitoring for insider trading on its behalf.

The Central Bank is the competent authority for supervising market activity but the market abuse delegation arrangement has been in place since 2005, under which the Irish Stock Exchange conducted certain market monitoring and investigation functions for it.
