Celtic tiger-era six star' Dunboy Castle up for sale US investor is believed to have opened negotiations

West Cork’s Dunboy Castle, where guests were choppered in for a ritzy launch during the boom, is on the market, with negotiations ongoing with an American buyer.

Over €50 million was poured into the restoration of what was intended to be Ireland’s first six-star hotel. It is now priced at somewhat less than that, sources said.
