Celtic Bookmakers, the chain owned by for merminister Ivan Yates, is changing its corporate structure in a move that limits Yates’s exposure if the company were to collapse.
Celtic Bookmakers, the chain owned by for merminister Ivan Yates, is changing its corporate structure in a move that limits Yates’s exposure if the company were to collapse.
The firm plans to re-register from an unlimited company to a limited company. Under the old structure, the company directors would assume responsibility for the firm’s debts if it ever went into liquidation. As a limited company, this is no longer the case.
