Celbridge scheme planned if €750m revamp is approved

Over 750 apartments and houses will be built in Celbridge, Co Kildare, if a planning application for a €750 million extension to the town centre is approved.

Devondale Limited, the company owned by developer Brian Durkan and his father Tony, is to apply to Kildare County Council to build the scheme, on a 98-acre riverside site in the Donaghcumper area.
