C&C sees improved Irish trade, reaffirms profit guidance

Drinks group C&C said that its trading over the Christmas period was mixed as re-affirmed earlier profit guidance, according to an interim management statement released this morning.

Drinks group C&C said that its trading over the Christmas period was mixed as re-affirmed earlier profit guidance, according to an interim management statement released this morning.

Irish Christmas trading was ahead of internal expectations, it said in the statement, which covered the period from 1st September to today. But retail data in the British off-trade suggested a more muted festive trading period in general, the company said.
