Developer Liam Carroll has sought planning permission for a major new office block on Davitt Road in Dublin 12.

The billionaire businessman is planning to develop a 10,000 square metre building, which would be up to five storeys in places on the Miller Group printing site.

Carroll bought the one-acre site in 2005 for €10 million, which was almost twice the original asking price. It came on the market after The Bridge Partnership withdrew plans to demolish...
