A fuel company which accused its supplier of consistent overcharging has lost its High Court battle to prevent AIB paying the supplier €130,000 under a bank guarantee.

The court heard that the payment would effectively mean the collapse of Fraser Oil with the loss of 55 jobs.

Joe and Liam Fraser set up Fraser Oil in Tullow, Co Carlow, in early 2007, and went on to open service stations in Graiguecullen, Kilcullen and Newbridge, Co Kildare.
