The body which audits local authorities has flagged ongoing concerns over planning and procurement issues in Carlow County Council in its latest report into the local authority.
A report by the Local Government Audit Service (LGAS) finalised last November, asked the council to address "specific matters" in relation to the validation of the planning process.
The matters were first raised in a report into the council's planning procedures in 2009.
