New car registrations have dropped in April, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

New car registrations have dropped in April, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

A total of 9,388 new private cars were licensed in April 2012, compared with 11,171 in April 2011.

In the period from January to April 2012, 45,469 new private cars were licensed. This is a drop of 10.2 per cent when compared to 50,655 in the same period last year.
