Car dealer criticises "weak, ineffective" SIMI
In the wake of Bill Cullen's motoring group having receivers appointed, a prominent car dealer has criticised the industry's leadership.
The Irish motor industry has “lost its way” with “self-inflicted” damage, led a “weak and ineffective” umbrella body.
That’s according to George Mordaunt, owner of the Clonmel-based dealership, The Mordaunt Group.
Mordaunt was speaking after receivers were appointed to Bill Cullen’s motoring group.
