Capital D, an €80 million property investment firm backed by high-profile investors, has put its building programme on ice because of the property downturn.
The company, set up by actuary and entrepreneur Johnny Morrissey, raised €20 million last year from investors who included former AIB chairman Lochlann Quinn, Dermot Desmond’s International Investment & Underwriting, Bill McCabe’s Oyster Capital, and the Mallaghan family of Carton House.
