Capital Bars, one of Dublin’s largest hotel and pub groups, is locked in refinancing talks with AIB in an effort to save four of its largest pubs and clubs from bankruptcy.

Capital Bars, one of Dublin’s largest hotel and pub groups, is locked in refinancing talks with AIB in an effort to save four of its largest pubs and clubs from bankruptcy.

The company petitioned the High Court late last week on Friday to appoint an examiner to four group properties, while a liquidator was also appointed over certain group assets.
