Cape Technologies receives €1.2m funding

Cape Technologies, a Dublin telecoms software firm, has received a €1.2million funding boost from Street Capital, Enterprise Ireland and private investors including entrepreneur Jim Mountjoy.

Street Capital invested €400,000 in the five-year old company,whileEnterprise Ireland contributed €300,000 to the round. Mountjoy, who joined the board of Cape last year, invested €200,000. James Mahon and John Sharpe Limited each invested €150,000, according to filings at the CompaniesRegistration Office. Cape was founded in 2000 by Philip Sharpe, Michael Adams andMichael Slevin and employs almost 100 people.
