More than 1,000 CVs have been received by a Canadian construction firm in the last months from skilled Irish people hoping to work there.

Representatives of the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) travelled to Ireland almost four weeks ago to see if the type of workers and skills the province requires for large infrastructure projects were available here.
