Canada Life sues IDA over failed property deal

Life insurance firm Canada Life has launched a multi-million-euro legal action against the IDA following a dispute with the state agency over a failed property transaction.

Life insurance firm Canada Life has launched a multi-million-euro legal action against the IDA following a dispute with the state agency over a failed property transaction.

The insurer has launched High Court proceedings, claiming that the IDA reneged on an agreement to sell it a lucrative building.

The firm is suing the state development authority for breach of contract, and is seeking to recoup loss of earning and expenses.
