Thousands of construction jobs in Canada are waiting to be filled by Irish workers, according to an industry body which is running expos to recruit workers in Belfast and Dublin next week.

This is the fourth time in two years that the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) and Canadian employers have travelled to Ireland for a recruitment drive.

In the last drive, 12 employers came from Canada and next week's event will see 30 firms...
