Eighteen months ago, Kevin Haverty, chief executive of IT firm Mentec, said the company was considering a flotation on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London. A listing was one option for Mentec, one of Ireland’s oldest technology companies, to raise funds for future acquisitions, according to Haverty.
