Calor Gas "delighted" at ruling restricting rival

Calor Gas has said it is “delighted” with yesterday’s Commercial Court ruling that Tru Gas Ltd is not allowed to use Calor-branded LPG cylinders.

Calor Gas has said it is “delighted” with yesterday’s Commercial Court ruling that Tru Gas Ltd is not allowed to use Calor-branded LPG cylinders.

Mr Justice John Cooke confirmed that Calor was the owner of the cylinders in question. He granted injunctions to prohibit the unauthorised refilling or interference with Calor branded cylinders, or the use of the Calor name or trade mark without the company’s knowledge or approval.
