Siptu aviation representatives are demanding that trade union leaders David Begg and Patricia King step down from the boards of Aer Lingus and Dublin Airport Authority as the airport pension row becomes increasingly bitter.

A motion expected to be heard at Siptu's national aviation sector committee this week has claimed that continuing to hold the board positions at the two companies is a conflict of interest for the two trade union leaders.
