A Labour TD who found her long-lost sister is pushing for others to have the right to be given the information they need to track down their family members.

Anne Ferris has put together a detailed policy document to feed into the long-awaited adoption rights legislation.

“If such legislation had been in place then I could have met my younger sister 16 years ago, or even earlier, instead of just three weeks ago,” she said....
