The National Paediatric Hospital should treat adolescents up to 18 years of age, the advocacy group Children in Hospital Ireland has said.

At a meeting with Minister for Health Mary Harney last week, it urged that the age limit for admission to the new National Paediatric Hospital be set at 18. It also called for the development of dedicated adolescent facilities.
