An online database which provides information about past misconduct of solicitors has come too late, according to the chief executive of the Consumers’ Association of Ireland (CAI).

An online database which provides information about past misconduct of solicitors has come too late, according to the chief executive of the Consumers��� Association of Ireland (CAI).

Solicitor Disciplinary Search is an online search facility which allows members of the public to check the disciplinary records of solicitors.

Since 2004, the Law Society Gazette has published all findings of misconduct made by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.
