Cable firm to offer multimedia package
Cable television networks will be the best option in the future for customers who want convenient television, phone and high-specification broadband internet - that’s the bold claim being made Shane O’Neill, chairman of UPC Ireland.
UPC is the owner of the merged business made up of cable and MMDS operators NTL and Chorus. Despite some false dawns for the cable sector in Ireland, O’Neill is confident that UPC will provide an attractive and competitive ‘triple-play’ of services to customers from next year: digital television, home phone and broadband internet.
