The newly-appointed Britain and Ireland boss of CA Technologies believes that the firm is well positioned to grow further in Ireland, despite the current gloomy economic climate.

Jacqueline de Rojas, who was last month appointed as vice-president and general manager for Britain and Ireland at CA, said that the advent of cloud computing was creating a new demand for security services, which was one of the company's core products.
