The government’s new medium term economic strategy contains new longer term forecasts for the economy and new policy directions but not much on how they will be achieved, writes Cliff Taylor.

The government’s new medium term economic strategy contains new longer term forecasts for the economy and an indication of some new policy directions. However it does not outline any detailed new policy measures. As such, it is unlikely to make many waves either at home or among overseas investors.
