As Irish interest in Alpine property rises 34 per cent, experts reveal the destinations that offer the best value and rental opportunities

Owning a ski property has become more accessible and affordable than ever and Irish interest in the Alps, in particular, is on the up.

“Irish interest in Alpine property increased by 34 per cent in the run-up to the winter 2016/2017 ski season,” said Niamh Erbek, the Dublin-based sales director of Athena Advisers, which sells French lifestyle and investment properties in the Alps and along the Côte d’Azur.
