When overseas property is mentioned, it usually brings to mind far flung locations, unpronounceable names, powdery sand and crystal clear waters.
We tend to forget that sun, sand and sea are not obligatory requirements for everyone looking to spend some time away from Ireland. There are people who prefer a climate similar to ours and activities possible in inclement weather such as hill walking, golf, pony trekking and cycling.
