Buyers aplenty in Galway, but funding is a problem.
Property prices in Galway city and surrounding suburbs have fallen by between 50 and 65 per cent from peak. However, local agents claim that there is no shortage of buyers in the market, and that activity has picked up significantly since this time last year.
