There are a number of primary schools dotted around the country which allow pupils to use tablet PCs from their very first day in class onwards. From simple maths to art and English, there are plenty of apps to help them learn as they go.

This is a generation that will most likely consider the laptop, or its sleeker relative, the ultrabook, as a weird relic by the time they become part of the workforce.
