Bust furniture firm owes €6 million

Furniture retailer Diamond Living, which closed its doors earlier this month, owes more than €6 million to creditors including staff and the Revenue Commissioners.

Furniture retailer Diamond Living, which closed its doors earlier this month, owes more than €6 million to creditors including staff and the Revenue Commissioners.

Amaranth Furniture, the main trading firm behind the business, was wound up on June 3 owing €3.6 million to creditors.

A related company, Dundrum Interiors, was wound up on December 23 last year with debts of €2.5 million. Almost 90 individual creditors are affected by the closures.
