Business Traveller: Emirates is flying high

Emirates is already expanding its Dublin-Dubai offering, as more and more passengers avail of its many destinations and quality service, writes Kieron Wood.

Dubai will be served from Dublin by larger aircraft from July 1 onwards, due to the destination's popularity.

Just six months after launching its Dublin service, Emirates is to put a larger aircraft on the Dublin-Dubai route from July 1 due to the success of the route to and from Ireland.

The 360-seat Boeing 777-300ER will replace the 237-seat Airbus A330-200, which currently operates the daily Dublin-Dubai service.

Normally, the A330 would provide enough capacity for the first two to three years on a new route, but Dublin exceeded expectations much faster...
