The National Business Expo, to be held next weekend, will provide a platform for business owners to learn their trades effectively, writes Martha Kearns.

It is often said that a tough economic climate breeds innovation and creates entrepreneurs, and the statistics seem to bear this out. In January 2013, an average of 43 Irish companies were formed every day - meaning around 1,800 were set up in the first two months of this year alone. This is a 10 per cent increase on last year, according to figures.
