The Dublin City Business Improvement District (BID) has welcomed the drafting of new legislation designed to combat the sale of prescription drugs on the streets of the capital.

Last week, Róisín Shortall, the Minister of State at the Department of Health, approved the new legislation, as well as amendments to the misuse of drugs regulations.
