Joan Burton will stay on as Minister for Social Protection if she becomes Labour leader, according to informed sources.
One source said Burton was keen to complete the overhaul of the social welfare system, which has included the roll-out of new ''one-stop shops for jobseekers, as well as penalty payments for those who refuse offers of jobs or training.
