This year has seen just under 80,000 new homes completed nationwide.

Following exceptional and consistent growth in values since the early 1990s, this was the first year of modest price growth in the new homes sector for some time, with virtually no price increases in the first time buyer sector this year.

Demand, however, was consistently strong with the result that most players in the new homes sector are reporting the best ever year for sales...
