Connacht Gold has reported a 16 per cent increase in turnover in 2011 on the back of a substantial increase in the value of dairy ingredients sales.
Volumes of milk processed at the co-op’s dairy ingredients business increased by 20 per cent in 2011 and this, combined with stronger product prices, led to an almost 40 per cent increase in sales to €83.5 million.
