Budget Travel sales claim angers agents

A row between the country's biggest package tour operator and the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) has escalated, following the firm's move away from using travel agents in favour of internet bookings.

An ITAA spokesman has described as “ridiculous and untrue'‘ claims by Budget Travel that its sun package bookings had increased by 20 per cent overall since the move away from travel agents.
